The launch of the Blackpool Grand Theatres Pantomime ‘Cinderella’
Come along to Blackpool Stanley Park on 29 August from 11am to meet Cinderella, Prince Charming, Buttons and the Fairy Godmother as Blackpool Grand Theatre launch this years Christmas pantomime.
The stars of Cinderella, including Danny Miller, Emmerdale’s Aaron Livesy, Blackpool Grand Theatre favourite Steve Royle, Amy Thompson from Channel 5’s Milkshake and Blackpool Radio Wave’s very own Hayley Kay will be In Stanley Park and they want to meet you all!
The free family fun day happens between 11am and 2pm at Blackpool’s awarding-winning Stanley Park picnic area.
There will be lots of free exciting things for the whole family including face painting, bouncy castle, fabulous giveaways and the chance to meet the creatures from the Blackpool Zoo Creepy Crawly Roadshow and the Grand Theatre’s Matcham Monkey.
Danny Miller, who played Emmerdale’s troubled mechanic Aaron Livesy from 2008 to 2011 stars as Prince Charming.
Joining Danny Miller in Blackpool Grand Theatre Pantomome Cinderella will be BBC Radio presenter and Grand Theatre favourite Steve Royle, who returns to the theatre for the tenth consecutive year in pantomime through overwhelming popular demand!
television Channel 5’s Milkshake presenter Amy Thompson will be appearing as Cinderella. This is a return to Blackpool Grand Theatre for the presenter who also starred in the 2010 Grand Theatre pantomime Aladdin.
Blackpool Radio Wave’s Breakfast Show host Hayley Kay takes the role of The Fairy Godmother.
Cinderella, that most favourite of all pantomime fairy tales, is jam-packed with music, dance, fun and laughter, a beautiful girl, a fairy godmother, a handsome prince, a glass slipper and, of course, two ugly sisters! There’e behind you!
Danny Miller, Steve Royle, Amy Thompson and Hayley Kay look forward to meeting you at Stanley Park Bandstand on Wednesday 29 August from 11am.
Cinderella will run at Blackpool Grand Theatre from 3rd December 2012 to 6th January 2013.
