Blackpool Armed Forces Week.

Monday 19th to Sunday 25th June 2017.

Armed Forces Day 2016 is Saturday 24th June. Blackpool however continues to support the British armed forces in its own unique way by hosting a week long celebration honouring serving military past, present and future, with special events on the 25th. During this week the entire town comes together with a range of special offers for members of the armed forces and their families. Blackpool Air Show.

Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th August 2017.

Blackpool hosted the first official Air Show in 1909 and now the event is staged annually every August with jaw dropping aerobatic stunts and fly-bys from some incredible vintage aircraft no longer in commission. Blackpool Air Show is free to attend and showcases the finest military and civilian aircraft over Blackpool’s famous promenade and golden mile sands.

Classic Car Show

Sunday 27th August 2017 10am to 4pm at the Italian Gardens Stanley Park, Blackpool, FY3 9HU, Always a fond favourite with vehicle owners and admirers. A great day for classic car lovers. The show is organised by Blackpool Vehicle Preservation Group.

Ride the Lights.

Tuesday 29th August 2017.

Join thousands of riders as they travel along Blackpool Promenade for a sneak preview of the stunning 2017 Blackpool Illuminations. The 6 mile vehicle free Ride The Lights course is suitable for all ages and abilities with rest points, bike doctors and street entertainment along the way.
