This year is the eleventh year of Blackpool Pride Festival, each year bigger and better than before, the weekend is a fun filled riot of colour. Blackpool Armed Forces Week 2018.

Monday 25th June to Sunday 1st July 2018.

Armed Forces Day 2018 is Saturday 30th June. Blackpool however continues to support the British armed forces in its own unique way by hosting a week long celebration honouring serving military past, present and future. During this week the entire town comes together with a range of special offers for members of the armed forces and their families. The activities include free concerts, exhibitions, military and ceremonial tributes and much, much more.

The week starts on 25th June with the flag raising ceremony at 10.30am at Blackpool Town Hall.

Classic Car Show

Sunday 5th August 2018 10am to 4pm Great FREE Event for all the family to enjoy on Central Promenade, Always a fond favourite with vehicle owners and admirers. A great day for classic car lovers.

After the success of last years show which featured 150 classic cars of all shapes and sizes plus Live Entertainment & Bar (provided by Central Pier) we look forward to the 2018 event.

Blackpool Air Show 2018.

Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th August 2018.

Blackpool hosted the first official Air Show in 1909 and now the event is staged annually every August with jaw dropping aerobatic stunts and fly-bys from some incredible vintage aircraft no longer in commission. Blackpool Air Show is free to attend and showcases the finest military and civilian aircraft over Blackpool’s famous promenade and golden mile sands.

Ride the Lights.

Join thousands of riders as they travel along Blackpool Promenade for a sneak preview of the stunning 2018 Blackpool Illuminations. The 6 mile vehicle free Ride The Lights course is suitable for all ages and abilities with rest points, bike doctors and street entertainment along the way.

Join us from August 31st for the “greatest free light show on earth.” At 6 miles long and using more than one million lamps, Blackpool Illuminations are an awesome spectacle whatever your age.

The Lights shine every year for 66 nights and continue to attract huge crowds. 2018 will see The Lights lit until November 4th so get your break booked now and prepare to be dazzled.
